Some goodness worth preserving

What if you could just fly like a bird?
Sometimes, when I see a beautiful cloud like this one, I imagine what it would be like to fly along it's flanks and majestically soar high above it's crest. What joy it must bring to bath in sunshine while silently moving through the crisp air...
This is one of the reasons why we founded Fluglicht, where we build a flying exoskeleton to make it happen!
Do you also sometimes think like me when you look to the skies? What clouds do you find the most inspiring?

(NB: if you look closely at the picture, you might notice something funny about the birds..)

Is the future dead?
Sometimes when reading the news one might think everything just gets worse day by day. Autumn has this effect on people… even in the third millennium. But is there really no future to look ahead to?
Considering the wonderful book “Factfulness” by Hans Rosling et al., this is just a mental bias. And I would also argue, one can only reach a better future if one has an idea of what this better future could look like.
Today is the 11th day of the 11th month, which in Germany marks the beginning of the “fith season” of the year. You may not be fond of these old traditions, but I think it harbors an interesting idea: when nature “dies” and cold, wet greyness swallows the land, you are quite capable of choosing your own state of mind and your own future. So when you are feeling Autumn in your bones, remember:
There is sunshine hidden in this picture!

Can you tell the real from the fake?
Proper exoskeletons seem like this impossible sci-fi tech. But is this true? So many things have been "impossible" in the past. But only very few people guessed right!
The "good" people actually try to disprove a hypothesis and can tell you the conditions that make it impossible.
The "bad" people usually have tried some things and didn't succeed and now think it is impossible. They are basically just frustrated. A typically human generalization error.
And then there are the "ugly" people who didn't even really try to find a solution, but fiercely tell you how impossible things are. Those people are not our customers ;)
Because we want you to feel hope! We want you to feel Fluglicht in your heart and believe in yourself! We can create a better world if we just dare to and if we stick together.
So test your biases and be surprised by the picture above. It displays some of the real and imaginary exoskeletons we came across while researching for Fluglicht. Can you tell which one is real and which one is fake? Tell us in the comments! But mind you: it's not as easy as it looks ;)
